Spend enough time shopping at secondhand stores, and eventually thrifted finds take over your closet. That’s what has happened to us, anyways.
We love getting inspired while browsing and sorting through the racks at thrift shops. It’s like a feelgood (and good-for-the-environment) treasure hunt. This year, we’re dedicating Thursday posts to looks created with secondhand clothing. We’ll even try to add in some footwear and accessories, when possible.
Jess’ look started with this vintage striped skirt from Front and Company on Vancouver’s Main Street. Never one to shy away from colour, we matched it with a bold & bright jacket, originally from TopShop. (Look how lovely Jess’ pink hair goes with the skirt!)
Skirt: Vintage from Front and Company, Vancouver
Crop Tank, Necklace, and TopShop Jacket: secondhand from Buffalo Exchange
Gold Booties: Eva-B, Montreal.
Jana pretty much picked out her busiest pair of pants, styled it with her busiest top, and then decided the outfit was lacking a metallic silver jacket. Sometimes, bolder is actually better.
Top: originally from Reitmans, found at a local thrift shop.
Pants: ZARA, purchased secondhand at Recycle Boutique in Napier, NZ.
Metallic Jacket: also ZARA, purchased at Buffalo Exchange.
Booties: Value Village, St. John’s.
Absolutely adore your unique flare 🔥❤️
Thanks a bunch! 🙂
