We recently spent a night at The Bunkhouse in Bay Bulls. Basically speaking, give us any chance to relax and spend some time on the Irish Loop, and we’re there. The brightly coloured and feels-like-home cottage is perfectly quaint and comfortable. It’s an ideal spot for hikers, kayakers, and whalewatchers. (And people like us who just really love waking up with a view of another harbour.)

Breakfast was toast, jam, and coffee. We ate it watching whales surface in the Bay while the boat tours cruised back and forth. (And we just need to point out that coffee out on the deck is brilliant).
