We’re not fans of sticking to the “women’s” section in a thrift store. No, we’d much rather shop the entire store. Our bodies are all different shapes and sizes, and we’ve all got our own sense of style, so we say shop in whatever section you want! (If this sometimes includes the kids’ section, too, that’s totally fine!)
On our last trip to SA Thrift, we decided to limit ourselves only to what we discovered in the men’s section, just to see what we could find. Flannel plaids and graphic tees would have been obvious choices, but we challenged ourselves to think a little more out of the box. Jess found a pair of suspenders and a Hawaiian print short-sleeve shirt. They look fantastic with a pair of jean shorts!!! Jana found an oversized dressy vest that she belted (with both a belt and a thrifted tie) over a plaid dress.
And, while you’re there, the Men’s side of the store is also a haven for cardigans, pullovers, hoodies, and sweatpants that aren’t super tight and flared at the bottom! (Yay!) (And we’ve already mentioned the graphic tees and flannel plaids.)

Between 3 and 5 o’clock is the best time to shop at SA. By that time we have most of our newest stock out on the floor.
That’s good to know!!!! Thanks, Nick!
